Gundam Vs Starwars

For those who dont know, Google Trends is a tool that allows you to compare search volumes of particular keywords - a rough measure of popularity for a particular subject over a period of time.
Done a comparison of Gundam vs Starwars (in Japanese) to find Gundam being far more popular - no surprises here. I then done a search for the same terms in English expecting to find Starwars being much more popular than Gundam and was surprised to see that the difference was trivial (see graph above). Gundam it seems has gained much ground outside of Japan too.

I will probably choose Starwars over Gundams.

If you are saying watch tehn i would watch star wars. models on the other hand would be gundams cause they have weapons that look cool muahahahah
