Super HCM Pro RX78

I click on "Super HCM-Pro RX-78-2" expecting to see the new 1/144 scale line looking pretty much like the HCM's up until now - cheap plastic looking. To my surprise I see a rather sexy RX78 with a ton o hatches n weapons.
Have Bandai gotten rid of the cheap plastic look associated with HCM's or have they just beefed up these promotion shots? Its half the price (5,347 yen) of the metal fix figuration that came out recently and looks like it has more mobility.
Lets say that the paint work is excellent - would you give up making HGs?

i would since it does look like it comes with a lot of stuff.
